Job Description

A client of ours is seeking an actuarial analyst to boast their technical capabilities within their specialist team. You will be responsible for improving the efficiency of process-based work including actuarial calculations, funding updates, transfer values and accounting disclosures.

The main responsibilities include liaising with the internal client teams, performing and checking data processing, calculations and reporting work for DB pension scheme clients. Other responsibilities include checking more junior colleague’s valuation work as well as reviewing scheme info such as benefit summary, benefit changes and previous valuation data to discuss with client teams.

You will also be expected to work with other colleagues in the wider business on an ad-hoc basis to improve efficiency and refine new process.

The ideal candidate will be making good progress in their actuarial exams, have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as be proactive in enhancing and refining process where necessary.
