Our client is seeking a Sr. Lead AECP Underwriter to join their Architects & Engineers and Contractors Professional Liability Team in Chicago, IL, Mt Kisco, NY, New York, NY, or Atlanta, GA, regional office location. The position will report to the Vice President of Underwriting. The company provides coverage for professionals facing potential liabilities due to their services.
The Sr. Lead AECP Underwriter is responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining strategic relationships with profitable business producers in the assigned marketing region. They are responsible for underwriting new and renewal business, growing accounts, and fostering relationships between key customers and underwriters. The ideal candidate should be independent, articulate, detail-oriented, creative, and possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
The key responsibilities include developing new business opportunities, managing existing business blocks, underwriting professional accounts, fostering new business opportunities, conducting sales calls, monitoring competitor pricing, keeping Underwriting staff informed, working with the Vice President and Senior Vice President, and developing marketing strategies.
