Technical Lead
Manchester OR Surrey OR Glasgow / 80-100k+ depending on experience

We are looking for Technical Lead for a leading insurance company based in Surrey. You will be experienced in full stack OR back-end in Java 8+ OR front-end in React. You will also have led a software development team in an agile way. Lastly, it is required to have developed distributed/ scalable systems and have utilised CI/CD, Jenkins and Docker, within cloud.
The salary is at least 80k, depending on skills and experience. This is the ideal opportunity to lead and mentor a team in an agile environment. You will also engage with the product owner and developers to create customer facing systems, microservices and cloud tech. Lastly, you will collaborate with SRE engineers to develop distributed systems.
Essential skills and qualifications
Great experience in full stack OR backend in Java 8+ OR front-end in React
Experience of mentoring, coaching and leading software developers
Committed to own and team's growth
Strong knowledge of developing distributed and available systems
Experience using cloud tech, CI/CD, Jenkins and Docker
