Job Title: Technical Lead - Insurance

Company Overview: My client, who are a leading insurance solutions provider, are currently looking for a Technical Lead to join their team.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with expertise in Python, C#, and FastAPI to spearhead our development initiatives within the insurance domain. As a Technical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, designing, and implementing robust software solutions that enhance our insurance platforms and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of talented developers to deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and actionable plans.
  • Architect scalable, maintainable, and efficient software solutions leveraging Python, C#, and FastAPI.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing methodologies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact on our products and recommending appropriate strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to resolve complex issues and challenges encountered during development cycles.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in software development, with a focus on Python and C#.
  • Strong proficiency in designing and building RESTful APIs using FastAPI framework.
  • Extensive knowledge of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience in leading and managing development teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in the insurance domain is a plus, but not required.
