Eames Consulting are partnered with a leading commercial bank with their search for a Treasury Accountant.
You will provide advice and guidance to other departments within the bank on key performance controls and reconciliations. This is a great opportunity to join a wider Treasury department in a varied role which will give you excellent front to back exposure.
Duties -
- Complete accounting processes that produce reports of assets, liabilities and profit and loss
- Support the production of a full audit trail for all accounting processes
- Provide oversight and guidance on transaction and strategy booking
- Continuously identifying and highlight areas of concern
- Assist with the delivery of change and system enhancements to internal controls
Knowledge and experience -
- Part or fully qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
- Experience within a Banking external audit team from big 4, Treasury Finance OR Product Control position
- Banking or Financial Services sector experience
- Be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills
- Intermediate user of Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
This role offers a flexible hybrid working environment with 2 days in the office along with realistic progression to either a managerial role or internal mobility across other treasury teams in the future.
