I'm working on an Senior Underwriting Manager/ Associate Director opportunity, within Life & Medical, in Hong Kong. This role will assess and handle life and medical Underwriting within delegated authority.
Job Responsibilities
To perform risk assessment on case underwriting according to own underwriting authority.
Managing a team of 10 underwriters and the team will be focusing on case production.
To provide high quality underwriting service with effective communications for sales channels.
To monitor the operation performance to ensure the Company’s rules and regulations are complied.
To involve in jumbo case, projects and people management.
Job Requirements
Solid track record in the underwriting field with over 12 years relevant experience in life insurance underwriting.
Professional qualification in Life Insurance including FLMI (Fellow, Life Management Institute)
University Degree in any disciplines
Good command of English and Cantonese, fluent Putonghua will be an advantage
Good leadership and team building skills
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Manager
