Eames Consulting is working on behalf of a leading Lloyd's Syndicate who are looking to hire a US Cyber Underwriter for their team in London.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and underwrite a profitable portfolio of US cyber and technology E&O business
- Structure tailor-made solutions by utilising current underwriting parameters and own experience to win new business as well as maintaining a high renewal business retention.
- Utilise the companies rating models, consider both reinsurance and risk costs in order to calculate premium in a profitable manner
- Monitor peer underwriters as well as cross selling in order to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability within the team.
- Be compliant with standards for business written through Lloyd's regulations or internal MGAs.
- Maintain and develop both new and existing relationships with London market brokers as well as those local retail in the US
- Work closely with the client and advise on coverages in order to keep client satisfaction to the upmost standard
- Clients include Small to Medium enterprises across: Manufacturing, Healthcare, Financial Institutions, Technology and retail businesses
- Take advantage of new business opportunities by keeping up to date with market trends as well as getting involved with product development
Key requirements:
- Experience underwriting Technology and/or Cyber E&O risks, preferably across the US SME space
- The desire to join a top tier syndicate, develop specialist product knowledge, gain experience and a profitable portfolio of business
- We are also interested in hearing from experienced brokers within the US SME cyber space.
