Responsibilities:
- Lead the Corporate Actuarial team in the performance of the life actuarial duties
- Oversee and monitor to IFRS result & HKSTAT reserve and solvency position under the Insurance Ordinance for the Life business
- Formulate and implement reinsurance policy, and to monitor the reinsurance administration
- Support the Appointed Actuary on compliance with relevant regulation of Insurance Authority
- Responsible for calculating and monitoring of the group reporting requirements including NBV, Embedded Value, SII reserve, etc
- ALM management of the life business, in collaboration with the investment function
- Responsible for review the key valuation assumptions used in the life business
- Support the development and implementation of the IFRS17 and HK Risk Base Capital
- Any ad hoc tasks assigned
Requirements:
- University Degree or equivalent
- At least 8 years of experience in life insurance industry
- FSA, FIA or equivalent qualifications
- Ability to work independently and being a team player
