My client is looking to bring on board a Vice President or Director in the team, to not only look after the full cycle from origination to execution, but to act as an ambassador for the business. Looking to maximise ROI for portfolios, this candidate will need to have an understanding of the clients' industry (retail, consumer, TMT) and will act as a portfolio manager.
Responsibilities
- To become a representative and advisor to internal and external stakeholders by possessing in-depth retail/consumer and investment knowledge
- Responsible for end to end project origination and participating in the execution of transactions
- Working closely with the various internal department leaders and assisting on bringing synergies between the invested businesses and the group companies
- Further development of business relationships with external and internal stakeholders for potential new businesses via in-person meetings (on- and off-site), conference calls and investment committee meetings
- Develop business plans for clients and oversee deliverables
The Ideal Candidate
- University degree with a minimum of 8+ years of experience from Investment Banking (Retail, Consumer, TMT sector)
- Experience with Venture Capitals will have an advantage
- Energetic, result-oriented, ability to work under pressure and self-motivated
- Good analytical, report writing, interpersonal, and relationship building skills as well as strong influencing skills at all level
- English, Cantonese and Mandarin
