Job Description

A leading city based insurer requires a Test Lead as part of a Windows Migration piece of a much larger infrastructure refresh programme.

The Test Lead in this role will work for the Test Manager, co-ordinated the testing of packaged applications.

Project Background

The client is currently completing refresh from Windows 7 to Windows 10, including repackaging of all applications into App-V packages and using App-V for application distribution.

In order to deploy the new desktop solution, the desktop applications need to be repackaged and formally signed off by end users.

Essential Required Experience

  • Windows 7 to Windows 10 application test co-ordination this is an essential requirement for this role. If you do not have experience specifically working on a project of this nature your profile will not be considered for this role.

Additional Essential Experience

  • Demonstrable knowledge of App-V packaged applications and profile personalisation solutions (AppSense, FSLogix)
  • Defect management processes and toolsets
  • Experienced working in an outsourced environment for significant desktop changes
