Fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your Finance career and join one of the world's Largest Asset Managers based in the City if London.
You will join a friendly and experienced team and take on a wide range of tasks, all whilst learning and developing alongside completing your qualifications (ACCA / CIMA etc). Tasks will include;
- Assist in performing a Business Partner role between Finance and the rest of the business ensuring accurate information is obtained to produce true accruals for expense items;
- Be involved in a detailed expense analysis on a monthly basis, confirming all accruals are accurate;
- Monitor cost areas ensuring Group policies are being applied correctly;
- Support the month end close and provide and present detailed analysis on variances, working to tight deadlines built into the monthly work cycle;
- Manage the year-end audit process for all assigned entities;
Skills & Experience Required
- Studying a professional qualification - ACCA / CIMA / ACA
- Minimum 12-18months of experience within Financial Accounting
- Experience of using a general ledger system - Sage / Coda / SAP etc & good with Excel
- Strong communication and analytical skills
Hybrid working model - 3 days in office
