Join the established governance function of this global speciality broker as they continue to grow.

Reporting into the Head of Business Operations, this role will provide advise to the business, while working in a business partnering capacity. Great fit for a broking professional, who has made the transition into a governance related role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a compliance advisory service to the business units as part of the 1st LOD model
  • Provide regulatory, licensing and sanctions advice in conjunction with the 2nd LOD Compliance Manager
  • Act as the firm's 'Complaints Manager' and handle complaints as and when they occur.
  • Ensure teams follow and raise compliance / risk concerns in line with procedures and controls.
  • Act as a conduit between the business and central risk and compliance teams.
  • Actively understand and comply with our internal regulatory, risk management framework and operational requirements.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Specialty Insurance experience and knowledge of London markets and products is essential.
  • Confident in advising and challenging brokers with the ability to engage, and form strong relationships
  • Strong understanding of the end to end broking process
  • Be able to work in a deadline driven environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite: Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Have excellent organisational and communications skills
  • ACII qualified is preferred but not essential
