Change Analyst - Remote - Occasional days in London - Insurance - Day Rate Contract (Inside IR35)

My Insurance client is looking for a number of Change Analysts to join a programme supporting the implementation of various legacy data remediation projects.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead project workstreams with business teams, ensuring actions are agreed, responsibilities assigned, deadlines set, and remediation activity is tracked through to completion.
  • Support business teams in developing their own remediation plans, including data discovery, classification and analysis where required.
  • Support business teams with moving their unstructured data to the correct cloud-based System of Record including any Data Residency requirements.
  • Execution of data destruction, ensuring controlled governance process followed at all times.
  • Responsible for ensuring legal hold checks undertaken when executing remediation activities.
  • Establish strong working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Progress tracking and reporting to Project Manager and escalate any delays or blockers to Project Manager.
  • Proactively looks for ways to improve operational efficiency whilst engaging with each business team.

Role Requirements:

  • Significant experience as a Change Analyst, Business Analyst or Change Manager
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working on Data Governance, Data Retention, or Records Management projects
  • Unstructured data classification experience - is desirable
  • Experience working on legal/compliance data remediation projects in a financial/regulated environment - is desirable
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and prioritise workload to meet own deadlines - whilst working in a virtual environment
  • Ability to build plans, and ensure that deadlines are set, agreed and met
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, busy and pressurised environment
  • Eye for detail, strong analytical skills and structured approach

Please note: to be considered for this role you must have experience working as a Change Analyst/ Manager OR Business Analyst specifically working on Data Governance or Records Management Projects - this is a pre-requisite.
