A unique and unrivalled opportunity to join a prestigious global asset manager in a newly created Senior Finance Business Partnering role. The company are a global alternative asset manager who operates in the UK and Europe across mainly PE style investments with around 100 people in total in London. Their CFO is seeking an experienced FP&A or Business Partner for a new role aimed at carving out a full suite analytics offering, encompassing everything from MI and financial analysis through to competitor and market analysis as well as involvement in strategy and commercial decision making. The role will initially work on the implementation of Anaplan, supporting their external consultants and working with stakeholders internally to tweak and bespoke the system before the role transitions into a BAU Finance Business Partnering position. As such you need to be happy and comfortable with taking on the Anaplan project for a roughly six months or so.
Given the specialised nature of the role we're looking for:
- A qualified accountant - ACA, CA, ACCA, ACMA - with at least 5 years PQE or equivalent and proven experience of using and working with Anaplan
- Degree educated with excellent academics (or equivalent)
- Experience of working in FP&A, decision support or business partnering in a global or complex organisation
- Financial services experience would be preferred but isn't essential
This role will be a senior standalone position where an approachable personality and hands on attitude are essential. They operate a heavily outsourced environment from a day to day accounting and transactional perspective with a focus on keeping finance numbers light and targeted on value add work.
