A market leading global asset manager is looking to appoint a Finance Manager to their prestigious London office in a new role created due to growth. The firm are a diverse and international business with around 10 people in finance, tax and fund accounting and are proud to offer a flexible and adult working culture.
Responsibilities will include:
- All financial, regulatory and management reporting for a number of UK and European entities
- Manage all interim and year end audits for the businesses you support - main point of contact for auditors
- Oversight (not preparation) of month end activities and transactional accounting
- Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management
- Management of a number of external service providers and vendors
- Involvement in ad hoc project work as required
Your background is likely to be:
- Qualified accountant - ACA/CA, ACCA or equivalent - with a background in financial reporting or legal entity control in asset management, brokerage, banking or financial services in general
- Likely to be at least 2 years PQE or equivalent
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
- Good at establishing and maintaining relationships at all levels, internally and externally
- Good technology savviness and willing to try out new ideas
