A global insurer is looking to hire a Nearly Qualified or Qualified Actuary to join their team in London. This role can be performed at either the Actuary or Senior Actuary level dependent on the candidate's experience. This role is currently exclusive to Eames.
In this role you will be focused on financial lines and you will have direct interaction with the underwriting team. Your responsibilities will range across pricing and portfolio management, including assessing portfolio performance and creating strategies to improve underwriting performance. You will also be developing rating tools and doing case pricing.
You will also have management responsibilities.
They are keen to speak to those who are within the Lloyd's/London Market and they are open to looking at those from reserving or capital also. Candidates must be strong communicators and have strong software and data management skills. Useful ones to know are Radar, VBA and R.
