A boutique property investment group based in Mayfair is seeking to appoint a Financial Modeller into a newly created role. The company are a fresh and innovative entrant into the real estate market with around 60 employees and significant year on year growth since they were founded a number of years ago. This role is a pivotal appointment aimed at someone early on in their career with around 3 to 4 years financial modelling experience or equivalent, preferably in the real estate or property sector.
Key responsibilities:
- Financial modelling and performance analysis for the assessment of new property development and financing investment opportunities
- Preparing integrated P&L balance sheet and cash flow models for each transaction
- Reviewing debt structures and relevant debt underwriting parameters using financial models and a variety of quantitative analytical tools to test assumptions and sensitivities
- Producing detailed deal specific financial analysis in support of transaction recommendations for presentation at the credit committee
- Supporting the underwriting of new investment opportunities to assess and quantify key risks in new lending opportunities
Your background:
- Advanced excel to include a strong track record of financial modelling
- Part or fully qualified accountant - desirable
- Real estate or property experience would be preferred
- A strong track record in financial analysis - both written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to talk to stakeholders both internally and externally
