An exciting new FinTech start-up, a subsidiary of the investment and ventures arm of a premier global bank, is currently seeking a Head Cybersecurity Engineer to join their team. As Head Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing a wide range of security technologies to build up the security function of the organization and eventually assembling a security team to support and enhance the organization’s security posture
Responsibilities
- Implementing and deploying SIEM, EDR and Web Application Firewall technologies
- Designing and implementing Line 1 controls to manage information and cyber security risk within risk appetite
- Architecting an Information Security Framework that entails governance, risk assessment, business engagement
- Coordinate and manage internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- 10 years’ experience in information security and risk management with at least 5 years of experience implementing a wide range of security technologies
- Prior experience working in the finance sector
- Working understanding of all three lines of defense risk model
- Experience with cloud-based technologies
- Articulate communication skills
