A leading Asset Management firm are looking for a Fund Lawyer to join the team on a contract basis, the role is to support the Products and Distribution Legal team.
The ideal candidate will possess a full range of asset management experience covering legal advisory, fund / product structuring, drafting and negotiating fund documentation, investment management agreements and related documents.
Responsibilities
- General asset management knowledge across various fund jurisdictions (specifically UK, Luxembourg, Ireland) and various fund structures (e.g. SICAVs, ICAVs, OEICs, SIFs, s110s, LPs) and the relevant regulatory framework applicable to asset managers (including AIFMD, UCITs, MiFID, EMIR).
- Good understanding of fund structures and fund documentation across a range of asset classes including in relation to private/real assets.
- Drafting experience to include drafting and negotiating investment management agreements, advisory agreement, fund documents, AIFM agreements, custody and depositary agreements, side letters, term sheets, distribution agreements
Ideally, the candidate will be a Qualified lawyer with 5+ PQE.
