I am looking to hire a Business Development Director who will take on responsibility for a large Marine Cargo team. The role will include responsibility for managing a large book of worldwide business and co-ordinating the strategy for placement and growth of the book. The role requires a broad spectrum of skills which include but are not limited to; client management, placement, RFP/tenders, budgets and sales planning. Personality is key and the successful candidate will need to be liaising with various other stakeholders (Heads of Hull/Energy/Property) to encourage cross sell initiatives. Candidates will need extensive Marine Cargo experience from an underwriting or broking background.
