High profile insurance brand is looking for an experienced Programme Director to join their team, leading a major business transformation across their technology estate. The role will take full ownership of a £50m+ programme of work transforming a number of core technology platforms, running the complete business transformation and working with 3rd parties to deliver a best of class solution to the business.
The role will report to the COO and be responsible for the full business delivery, working closely with technology teams and the CIO to ensure a smooth technology build and delivery. The programme will be delivered in an iterative/agile fashion and as a result experience of transitioning to agile from waterfall and running iterative programmes is highly desirable.
This is a key role, running a business-critical programme spanning tens of millions and multiple years. To be considered for the Programme Director you will have:
- Experience leading large scale programmes (ideally £50m+) around core systems change and transformation
- Experience of working on iterative programmes and transitioning legacy firms to agile
- Very strong stakeholder management skills and experience at ExCo level
- Strong understanding of business-focused, operations change with a technology edge
- Experience working in the insurance or wider FS sector would be beneficial but not essential
