Our client is a global carrier with the ability to write a broad spectrum of energy business across multiple sub-sectors including upstream, midstream, downstream, power and various other associated lines. They would like to write a renewable energy book to complement their existing book of broad energy business with the expectation that more and more clients will be investing in renewable technologies. The book will be a mix of onshore and offshore renewable energy and will be written under the existing power book. Candidates will need to have previous experience in renewable energy or perhaps have a construction & engineering background. It is highly likely that candidates will need underwriting experience but there may be flexibility if someone is coming from broking or perhaps out of industry within renewable energy.
