Phenomenal opportunity to join a US-based global alternative asset manager as they look to establish a new funds finance team in London, owing to multiple successful fund launches in the last few years. With an established presence in London in private equity, real estate and private debt, they've recently begun adding headcount to the non-investment side, with this particular role aligned to their European private debt fund which closed in early 2023.
Responsibilities:
Fund accounting review and oversight (partially outsourced) at fund (Guernsey) and SPV (mainly Luxembourg) level
Fund operations and set-up
High-level tax oversight and support during the closing / structuring process
Liquidity and treasury management and analysis including FX hedging
Financial modelling: performance analysis, scenarios, stress testing, carried interest, waterfall calculations etc
Ad hoc reporting and analysis in response to deal team queries
Your background:
Fully qualified accountant - CA, ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CPA or equivalent - with experience working on closed-end fund structures across private equity, real estate, private debt, infrastructure, credit or alike.
Exposure to the Luxembourg funds market would be especially beneficial.
A background working in either a fund or fund administration firm. This role is not aimed at someone leaving practice for the first time.
Likely around the 3 to 5 years PQE mark or thereabouts.
Advanced Excel skills: comfortable manipulating data with basic financial modelling abilities.
A collaborative outlook and team player with high levels of integrity
Strong relationship-building skills and comfortable talking to a variety of stakeholders internally and externally
Fluent or native English speaker and excellent verbal as well as written communication skills.
Salary on offer is in the region of £80-90,000 plus benefits and bonus. Hybrid working and Mayfair (Green Park) location.
