Our client is a large UK insurer. They require an Underwriter with experience in UK commercial liability risks. This is a role managing SME / mid-market business a large portfolio of property & casualty insurance but with a leaning toward the casualty book.
The role will encompass strategy, governance and pricing across mid-market digital business with a massive digital drive and a focus on "intelligent learning" and AI which is is shaping the underwriting appetite. The role is not a typical "case underwriitng" or "case referral" type of role.
The role will involve streamlining the products as they have over 800. Applicants will need at least 5 years experience of commercial liability underwriting within a composite insurer.
