Excellent opportunity to join an established Investment Manager to help drive their management reporting and working closely with Senior stakeholders in the firm to enable commercial decision making.
The role they are offering will take ownership of the Management Accounting for the group and support the Head of FP&A on strategic budgeting & forecasting on a quarterly / annual basis. Due to the structure of the team, the role offers significant autonomy and engagement with the wider business, so strong communication and stakeholder management skills
The position would work well for an individual seeking to take on a greater focus on the group wide Management Accounting cycle within Asset Management and move away from Financial Accounting / Reporting elements
Key Responsibilities;
- Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting for the business, covering group level as well as Individual business units
- Responsibility for management of the businesses expense base, reporting on key variances
- Production of board level MI pack, creating visualisations of data via Power BI
- Work with the wider Finance function to improve the analytical output provide to the business
Experience Required
- Professional Accounting Qualification + Post Qualified Industry Experience (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Experience within Financial Services - Preference towards Investment / Asset Management or Private Equity
- Commercial mindset, willingness to be curious
- Strong communication & stakeholder management skills
