Our client is a multinational broker with a large book of Non-Marine Facultative Casualty & Specialty Reinsurance. The team comprises of around 16 brokers and the role necessitates working closely with colleagues in both London and international hub(s) as a key part of our client offering. The Senior Reinsurance Account Manager will be primarily responsible for technical and administrative support for the Account Executive team in placing and servicing of the business. The role is responsible for the marketing of reinsurance placements which involves communication with both clients and reinsurers (in both London and international markets). The job holder will be responsible for supervising the efficient workflow and distribution of tasks amongst the Facultative Casualty team and will be a primary contact for the resolution of queries received from clients and reinsurers - liaising with colleagues within other departments as necessary.
Other duties will include:
- Generation and review of contractual documentation (including contract wordings, endorsements and evidence of cover).
- Collection and analysis of data necessary for the preparation of market submissions and presentations.
- Population and maintenance of data within the IT systems.
The desirable candidate will have technical experience of reinsurance Casualty & Specialty classes, including General Liability, Product Recall, Financial Lines and Cyber. Candidates will also need to have excellent attention to detail and good communication and interpersonal skills.
