Job Description

Currently working with a Lloyd's Syndicate looking to hire Underwriting MI Analyst to their team in London. This role will work closely with underwriting team to consolidate data from various sources and create tailored dashboards to enable UW performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce accurate, timely data sets for Actuarial, Underwriting, Claims, Finance, and reporting departments
  • Assist in financial management and internal reporting, including variance tracking and reforecasting
  • Provide support for underwriters and actuarial teams, including rate change calculations and product monitoring
  • Collaborate with claims, reserving, and finance to monitor profit commission accruals and validate payments
  • Perform regular analysis, identify data trends, and create reports in PowerBI
  • Assist in regulatory reporting for Lloyd's as required
  • Identify and resolve data inconsistencies or issues

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3+ years experience in the Lloyd's market, specifically with Binding Authority business
  • Knowledge of general insurance principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI
