A personal lines insurer is looking to hire within their Technical Pricing team on a hybrid basis (they are very flexible in the amount of days you do in the office). They ideally would like to speak to those who have recently completed a PhD for this opportunity.
This role has a strong research and development focus which is why the PhD experience is key for this vacancy - they need self-motivated individuals who have independent research experience. You will be creating complex actuarial models to innovate pricing and you will also be involved problem solving for the business via ad-hoc actuarial and statistical analyses.
They are keen to speak to those who have experience in machine learning techniques in Python or R. Must have strong academics.
