A highly reputable Lloyd's/London Market Insurer is looking to hire an Actuary into a more non-traditional role within their business. They want a senior individual to specialise on providing underwriting analytics for all lines of business they write.
This role will engage with the underwriters on a daily basis and will take responsibility and ownership for creating tools and dashboards to help the underwriting teams to monitor their books, look at trend analysis etc. This role will also have 1 direct report.
As a function they mostly use PowerBi, R and Python.
This role would suit an individual who is either FIA or qualified by experience, and who commercially understands the underwriters and classes of business. Either those from a pricing or capital background would be considered.
