Eames is currently working with a Lloyd’s Syndicate on the appointment of an Underwriting Manager to be responsible for the performance, strategy and development of their Specialty and Financial Lines book of business. This individual will act as an ultimate referral point for underwriters, maintaining and updating regular technical underwriting guides and producing reports on divisional performance. They will also work alongside the Strategy & Development team delivering initiatives including new products, territories and distribution.
A successful candidate would have exposure to project management and have good analytical and communication skills. An understanding of the Lloyd’s and/or London market is essential as well as exposure to working alongside major insurance & reinsurance classes.
