Job Description

Our client is a successful Lloyd's syndicate with ambitious plans to grow the US General Liability book. Eames Consulting are assisting in the building out of the existing team. The book is primarily excess layer and is focussed on Fortune 1000 clients distributed by Lloyd's brokers. Our client can consider candidates who are currently writing or broking US GL business, but the preference would be for someone who is either a liability risk engineer, a risk manager for a Fortune 1000 client or someone who has worked in an "industry" such as rail, construction or manufacturing and understands complex risk management issues from a client perspective. Underwriting can be trained by the existing team and the idea would be to employ someone who can look at risks in a new and interesting way. This will help challenge the existing underwriting team and encourage diversity of product offering/wordings/pricing. Insurance experience in underwriting, broking, risk management or risk engineering is essential in this role.

Eames Consulting is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
