A leading international insurance company based in London are looking for a compliance manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
This would provide a good opportunity for a compliance officer/deputy looking to extend their compliance operational understanding within a company with a strong compliance culture and progressive senior management team.
The main responsibilities would be
- Monitoring and escalation of compliance and regulatory developments.
- Reviewing company policies.
- Reporting on the compliance lead of regulatory matters.
- Upholding and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
- Partaking in ad hoc compliance and complaints work.
The qualifications required for this role would be
- Educated to degree level (Degree in Law desirable).
- Experience within compliance and complaints management.
- Experience within general insurance.
- Self-starter.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of UK Regulatory Rules and Principles.
